Saguaro Cactus

A Saguaro Cactus is probably not a good choice for a cactus in your back yard unless you have a huge backyard because this cactus can get enormously big. It grows slow and can live for more than a 100 year.

They may grow their first side arm after about 20 years, but some never grow one.

The saguaro blossom is the State Wildflower of Arizona. It blooms in April through June and opens up at night and blooms only for one day.
